Lawson ProcessFlow: Trigger-Happy Solutions

Thursday - August 28, 2008 - 2:00pm (Eastern)

If you are like many Lawson clients, ProcessFlow was installed as part of your initial setup and likely hasn’t been touched since.

Lawson defines ProcessFlow as an ‘automated sequential process utility that allows users to graphically define a process’.  Basically, Lawson ProcessFlow is a toolbox designed to automate and improve many of your common HR, Financial, Distribution and Procurement business procedures.  However, many users don’t know how to use all of the ProcessFlow tools…or perhaps their requirements are so unique that they don’t believe the tools can be effectively utilized to serve their needs.

Lawson developed ProcessFlow with the understanding that many common tasks and significant business actions which require coordination across your organization have event-based “triggers” that initiate the process flow.  Some common tasks that Lawson provided ‘out-of-box’ functionality for include:

  • Requisition/Invoice Approval
  • Employee Hiring/Termination
  • Personnel-Actions

But there is so much more you can do with Lawson ProcessFlow
You are not limited to Lawson’s provided “solutions”

You can create your own solutions – You just need to determine how to trigger them

Join JGI for this informative webinar as we discuss how we can help you to design and create your own Trigger-Happy Solutions to get maximum efficiency from your business procedures, and expanded ROI from your Lawson tools.
